• Supervised 5 person department. Developed long term coverage plan and made
  daily assignments to staff.
• Created and developed revenue-generating special programming, including Emmy
  Award winning “Friday Night Football.” Also developed “Gridiron Blitz” and “ACC
  Full Court Press” campaigns.

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT, CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO YMCA.
July 2007-Present

• Lead the organization’s first development office. Spokesperson/media contact for
  the YMCA.
• Oversee capital and annual campaigns. Organized capital campaign leadership team
  including former UNC and NBA basketball players Eric Montross and Hubert
  Davis.
• Developed organization’s development plan. Manage all external marketing and
  public relations.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
• Board Member, Duke Cancer Patient Support Program, 2004-Present. Involved in
  all aspects of new program development, fundraising, and media relations.
• Board Member, Chapel Hill/Carrboro Public School Foundation, 2004-Present.
• Emcee, Duke Cancer Patient Support Program Annual Fundraiser, 2002-Present.
  The biggest annual single day fundraiser for the program, raising more than
  $500,000 since 1999.
• V Foundation for Cancer Research, Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic.
• Board Member, St. Charles Missouri County chapter of the American Cancer
  Society.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
• Leadership Triangle, 2005. Graduated as a Goodmon Fellow, following 3 month
  course on personal leadership development.
