 Career Experience Freelance Reporter Summer 2008 (ABC/FOX) WKEF/WRGT Dayton, OH Brought experience to an up and coming station. Execute live shots on daily basis. Prepare different packages for particular newscasts. Found new angles to take for 6:30 and 10 pm newscasts. Produced web based stories. General Assignment Reporter and Weekend Anchor February 2007 – April 2008 (NBC) WEYI Flint, MI Execute live shots for 5, 6 and 11 pm newscasts. Routinely report several stories in one day as breaking news came up. Aggressively pursue follow-up opportunities. Develop story ideas, and contacts. Report, write, gather news, and anchor for station’s most watched weekend newscasts. Ratings increased during period on 6 pm newscast. General Assignment Reporter and Anchor/Producer April 2005 – February 2007 (ABC) WENY Horseheads, NY Report on general assignment stories for 6 and 11 pm newscasts.
