 CAREER OBJECTIVE Having seven years of news experience, I am ready to take the next step in my broadcast career. My recent work includes anchoring nightly, writing, producing, and covering live, breaking news stories. Some of my strengths include reporting live from the field, gathering stories and putting together solid packages, and using my versatility to produce and anchor an entire newscast with little or no help. WORK EXPERIENCE Anchor/Reporter-KEZI-TV, Eugene, OR June/2005-Present Primary News Anchor for KEZI/6:30 & 11:00 newscasts Mon-Friday. Also responsible for producing the 11:00 show each night, writing, and reporting Ability to fill in for several positions: anchor, producer, reporter, writer, and weather. Anchor/Reporter/Bureau Chief-KEZI-TV, Roseburg, OR Mar/2003-June 2005 Produced and Anchored a Douglas County News Segment every weekday, and reported live to Eugene. Performed duties of assignment editor, reporter, and field producer Read news, sports, and weather live on the radio for local station Photojournalist-KTVB-TV, Boise, ID Feb/2002-March/2003 Shot video using SP/Beta cameras Edited stories using both linear and non-linear editing equipment Found ways to make my stories stand out above others in the market area.
