 Relevant Experience Gannett Company Inc. -The Daily Record - Parsippany, NJ October 2004 - Present Freelance Reporter *Report local breaking news and feature stories for this large North Jersey daily newspaper. Recorder Newspapers – Madison, NJ June 2007- November 2008 Started as a freelance reporter, became full-time in December 2007 * Report various types of state and local news stories. Including, but not limited to, municipal, feature, investigative and political reporting throughout Somerset County. Also take photos to compliment my stories. Started as a freelance position. Fox News Network – New York, NY January 2007 - December 2007 News/Production Assistant/Writer * Gathered, searched and cut VO’s and SOT’s. * Logged tapes and fed to other Fox affiliates. * Wrote for daytime news. * Responsibilities included most of the production work for the live 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. news hours. Including, but not limited to, municipal, feature, investigative and political reporting throughout Hudson, Bergen and Essex Counties.
