Responsible for generating story ideas for newscasts and presenting stories live on a daily basis. Responsibilities include special projects. FOX 28 News / WSJV-TV South Bend, Indiana Television News Reporter / Fill-in Anchor/Producer May 2006 - February 2008 Developed and presented news stories for the Fox 28 evening news, filled-in as a weekend anchor/producer KIDK-TV / KIFI-TV Pocatello, Idaho Television News Bureau Reporter March 2004 - May 2006 Responsibilities included shooting, writing, editing and generating enterprise stories for the news on a daily basis. NBC Washington, D.C. “Meet the Press” Intern Summer 2003 Assisted in planning, research and taping of the “Meet the Press” broadcast. Handled correspondence with the public, NBC Network, local and national press organizations, political contacts and maintained extensive political research files. “Dateline” Consumer Intern Summer 2002 Worked directly with the producer and correspondent of the consumer unit, on a full time basis, in the Washington D.C. Bureau. Assisted in the production of stories by researching original story ideas, conducting interviews and writing story proposals.
