Provided anywhere from 10 second teases to 3 minute forecasts mostly for use in evening broadcasts. Developed specialized graphics for each market using WSI Weather Producer/Show FX software. Assisted in creating graphics to be used on television broadcast, and then presented forecast on-air for NewsWatch Sixteen. Meteorology Intern, WOKR-13 NewsSource 13, Rochester, NY May 2001- August 2001 Created short term and long-range forecasts for Rochester area to be broadcasted on air and sent to the clientele of NewsSource 13. Made all animations and graphics used on the 5PM, 5:30PM, and 6PM newscasts. Recorded voice forecasts for use of local radio stations and weatherphone. Updated weather forecasts for websites. Worked for Bill Peterson, and gained from his decades of broadcast experience. Used WSI Weather Producer and Show-FX computer programs.
