Show tackles issues important to families including single parenthood, domestic violence, affordable health care, and much more. Provide voiceover talent for some advertisers. Teleprompter experience. Writing and editing experience.

2004 to Present Adjunct English Professor, Prince George’s
Community College, Largo, Maryland

Teach English, public speaking, and expository prose writing. I emphasize the
fundamental principles of effective public speaking and writing, including grammar,
punctuation, proper sentence and paragraph construction, and short essay writing.

2003 To Present Regular guest panelist, News Channel 8’s “NewsTalk”
with Bruce DePuyt

Regularly invited to contribute live news and political commentary on the cable news
show. Occasionally provide topics and ideas for the show.

2002 Candidate, Maryland State Senate.

While running for office, organized hundreds of volunteers and raised over $100,000 in
two months. Platform included child and health care, living wages, and affordable
college tuition. Spoke to thousands of voters at various events, and provided dozens of
interviews to the media.

2000 To Present, Speaker, “Ladies In Waiting” Etiquette program for
disadvantaged girls.

Regularly speak to school aged girls about proper public conduct, attitude, image,
manners, confidence, leadership, public speaking, and appearance.
