Production Assistant

- Assisted in the day-to-day operations required for producing a nationally-syndicated
  television talk-show
- Duties included: pre-interviewing and screening prospective guests, accommodating in-
  studio guests, researching show topics and segment ideas, obtaining video footage to be
  used for purpose of show, coordinating live segments with producers during tape-days
  and assisting in re-enactment tapings
- Worked on average between 70-90 hours per week

PSN-TV – In The Game
Television Anchor
University Park, PA, September 2003 – December 2004

- Co-anchored a 30 minute-long student-run sports-television show that aired once a week
  on PSN-TV
- Wrote 3 ˝ minute scripts in order to interview Penn State athletes on camera
- Developed skills in television broadcasting, interviewing, production, script-writing, and
  teleprompter reading

ComRadio – Under the Bleachers
Radio Host and Producer

- Co-hosted a one-hour sports-talk show that aired over the internet (www.comradio.psu.edu) twice a week
- Gained vital experience in the field of radio-board operation, editing, running commercials,
  conducting over-the-phone and in-studio interviews, taking phone calls, coordinating live
  talk-segments, and controlling music and audio levels

Summer 2006, New York, NY

- Researched daily news and sports topics for hosts Evan Roberts and Brian O’ Leary
- Screened in-studio phone calls and maintained daily show logs
- Booked and accommodated in-studio guests

- Participated and interacted with both hosts during live talk segments

1050 ESPN RADIO
Summer 2004, New York, NY

- Managed the sound board for “The Mike and Mike Show” from 6 until 10 a.m.
- Edited commercials and sound-bites with Joey Salvia, ESPN Radio producer.
- Operated and programmed a nationally syndicated show using the ENCO computer
  system.
